A Very Special Interview with
Aurora Sander & 333 Boyz

Aurora Sander is an artist duo from Norway. At the time of the interview, both 333 Boyz and Aurora Sander were working hard on their projects for 3hd Festival. Sam and Liam were in between finishing the EP and artwork for their upcoming release “Pink Freak”. Aurora Sander were in their studio making palm trees, and birds for their consuming environment at HAU Hebbel am Ufer. This Q&R relies on what the four can do best- a special communication between close friends based on images and sound. Interviewers – named as AS – are visualising their questions, followed by a response from interviewees – named as 333.

Interview in the occasion of 3hd Festival.

The 3hd Festival is launched by the event series Creamcake, which is an active curator of cultural events in Berlin. From December 2nd to 5th, 2015, new and hybrid projects that are usually confined to the virtual world will be presented to an ever-growing user base. The festival follows the theme “The Labor of Sound in a World of Debt.” It is devoted to musicians, artists, performers, academics, and journalists, who examine ‘the labor of sound’ today. Questioning both its cultural causes and its consequences, the contributing artists ask how it is possible that this ‘sound’ moves forward in a world where individuals and whole cultures live in interlinked systems of debt.

The next take over is called “The Labor of Sound in a World of Debt” featuring: ADR, Oliver Coates, Dexter Duckett, Danny L Harle, DJ Paypal, DJ Taye, Easter, Fawkes, Adam Harper, Lonely Boys, Lawrence Lek, Dafna Maimon, Malibu, Nkisi, Nkisi, Nile Koetting, Oklou, Aurora Sander, Colin Self, SKY H1, Soda Plains, Aurora Sander, Uli-K, Vipra, Simon Whybray, Ziúr and more tba.

Wednesday – Sunday, 2nd – 5th December 2015
HAU 2, OHM, Südblock und Vierte Welt
